The register covers England and Wales only and is typically updated around once a month.
Results may be missing, out of date, or superseded (for example, where a certificate has expired, been replaced, or not yet been indexed).
A free register check is not a substitute for an official EPC produced by an accredited assessor.
Where an EPC is legally required (for example, when selling or letting a property), you must obtain a valid certificate from an accredited assessor.
